Net Com has completed the installation of Kirk DECT z 1500 communications server. The 50.000 euro contract was ended by Net Com and one of our dealers from Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania.
Kirk Telecom, a very well-known leader in the voice communications market, makes the most important business by innovating wireless telephony communications. The server Kirk DECT z 1500 it's an add-on voice solution designed for small and medium business companies with a need for anywhere between 1 and 700 users .
KIRK DECT z 1500 directly controlls all Kirk base Stations, avoiding problems that occure during a call, such as synchronizing a base station to another. Also, the server features the call recording.
Any customer can configure his own solution through Kirk DECT z 1500 server. The customer can choose between analogue, ISDN and IP interfaces between the KIRK solution and the PBX/call handler, all depending on customer specific requirements.
In its basic version, the KIRK Wireless Server 1500 handles up to 16 KIRK Base Stations. When business evolves and telephony needs change, KIRK telecom provides an easy way to expand your KIRK solution: with a KIRK Link Card and a KIRK Expansion Board, the amount of KIRK Base Stations can be increased to 32. 96 KIRK Repeaters can be added to extend the radio coverage and a total of 700 users can be subscribed to the solution.
Indoor, a Kirk Base Station covers a circular area of 50 m. Outdoor, it covers 150 m. For a larger coverege, there are external antennas available.
The customer's prefered terminals were Kirk 3040: nice look and a lot of useful features: large alphanumeric display with backlight, CLIP (10 caller-ID presentations), volume control, telephone book with room for 80 numbers, auto key lock, 6 menu languages, R-key for call transfer and special services.
The most relevant feature of Kirk 3040 is SMS. SMS function (Supported on KIRK systems only) stores 14 messages of 72 characters each. The customer can create user groups for broadcasting messages to many users.
From november 2005, Net Com has launched a wellcome operational leasing offer, useful for implementing communications systems projects between 10.000 and 200.000 euro.
